Professor of Economic Sciences. Head of the Department of Banking, Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. His scientific and research interests focus on the issues of banking and strategic audit. Apart from his scientific and didactic achievements, Professor has extensive practical experience in the area of management and consulting.
In 2009-2010 he was head of the team of strategic advisors to the President of the National Bank of Poland. A member of the Chapter of the "Now Poland" Competition and a member of the international research consortium CHER (Consortium for Higher Education) in Kassel (Germany). In 2019 he was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of banking and public finance sector in Poland.
 

Doctor of Economic Sciences. She is interested in banking, financialisation, new financial regulations and their economic effects, the bank credit market and lending institutions. The author of many scientific publications and research reports in areas such as: financial management, banking and economics.
Between 2015-2019 presiding over the Organizing Committee of three international scientific conferences related to financialization. In 2013-2014 she was a member of the Investment Committee of Innofund. In the years 2006-2008 she was an advisor for the implementation of recovery programs in enterprises in the Equal project "A system for preventing unemployment in poorly urbanized areas".

Introduction to the Special Issue “Humanistic Economy”

Issue of the journal “Humanistic Economy” is a collection of articles which are a response to the increasingly frequent voices, for contemporary economics to be treated not only as a set of economic notions, but as a science, where human beings and their happiness are the main focus. The authors suggest the use of solutions from the area of psychology, sociology or cultural studies in economics, that allows to consider economics as a humanities science.
